The Point.
The New York Plaza Hotel.
Fondly known as The Hotel Plaza.
For some people Central Park has much to do with the root of their History. And as we said at the
beginning -- it is where The Great Adventure can be found. In 1981 Simon & Garfunkel had their 1st
reunion on this lawn. They put an album out called ... Live from Central Park. In front of the stage -
dead center - on the lawn is a big white square. It is a white blanket. History. Also, in 1982 a million
people and the United Nations were called here to say Nuclear Arms should not ever be used against
people and the generations that are you today (black & white insert). See the Flag flying by the tent.
The Great Lawn - mid Park around 81st Street.
