Are you looking for a white forest ? You'll
find it in France, in Savoie -- in the Valley of Les Allues. In 1938 Major Lindsay, a Scotsman, decided to build a Resort in Meribel. In 1972 Meribel - Mottaret was created below the towering Mont Vailon on a plateau at the crossroad of The 3 Valleys. In the valley villages you can hear time passing by as the bell tower of Les Allues has been chiming for Centuries and intends to do so for many more. Meribel is at the very heart of the snow world, literally ... above the clouds. It sports more than 200 lifts and 375 miles of ski runs. Snow boarding takes off at Le snowpark dec Plattieres. In Meribel, valley celebrations explode for Holidays and Anniversaries. Fireworks in a snow covered mountain village. Imagine the sound. Imagine the rumble. Breathtaking. |
