The MagaZine
Let us Not forget 57th Street between 6th and 7th
Avenue. A Grand Concert Hall.
If dance is not your cup of tea
there are many more things to see --
What do all of these stars: Frankie Lymon,
Pearl Bailey, Gladys Knight and The Pips, Stevie
Wonder, The Jackson Five, and Ella Fitzgerald all
have in common ? There is one answer. They
were all discovered on Wednesday night: at The
World Famous Apollo Theater, 253 West 125th
Street. Remember they are still finding stars and
still making history there. You can be part of it.
Oh right -- Wednesday night is "Amateur Night."
The night stars are born. Anther hot spot is the
New Victory Theater in Midtown on 42nd Street.
Some say an ultimate theater for kids and families.
