In The Ice Age there is
Controversy that may be
brewing. Big Controversy.
The "Cool" little character
known as Sqrat or Scrat
(however you spell it) seems
itself to have been a child
that was hijacked by some
people with cold business
tactics. It appears that a
20th Century Fox took the
Scrat for a meal of its own.
A Story appearing in the
New York Daily News
newspaper (January 2002)
reminded those who lost
their minds back before the
dark ages that it was (in fact,
Richard Renda who invented)
the Ivy Supersonic Sqrat.
And you may also remember
Jeanie Moos breathing life
into it on Cnn. You can steal
the child but you can't steal
the seed. And the good
news is ... The Ice Age will
warm up to resolve what
could be a Hot problem.

Academy Award ® winner Kevin Spacey and Academy
Award ® nominee Jeff Bridges star in this spellbinding, often
humorous story of a mysterious stranger who defies convention,
puzzles the experts and leaves everyone searching for the truth.

A stranger who calls himself Prot (Spacey) seemingly appears
our of nowhere following a disturbance at New York's Grand
Central Station. Claiming to come from a distant planet K-PAX,
Prot draws the attention of jaded Dr. Powell (Bridges) whose
initial skepticism soon turns to fascination and amazement. Even
a team of leading scientists are at a loss to explain Prot's detailed
knowledge of the star system he calls home. But with Prot's return
to K-PAX fast approaching, the search for answers intensifies
and the mystery takes on pulse-quickening proportions. Featuring
unforgettable performances and surprising turns, it's the thrilling
story that "Keeps you guessing right to the end." Rating: PG-13
(for violent images, brief language and sensuality).
In March 2002 Universal Studios Home Video introduces
K-PAX, the $52 million box office hit that was called a
"fascinating psychological mystery" by the Seattle Post
Intelligencer and given the "two thumbs up" by Ebert & Roeper.

The K-PAX Collector's Edition DVD will feature awesome
bonus materials including an intriguing never-before-seen alternate
ending. Other features include the making of K-PAX featurette
including exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, interviews
with the cast and crew, feature commentary with director Iain
Softley, deleted scenes and more !
