Granted there is nothing wrong with the product. It may be merely that specific contracts might prohibit
the product from reaching their final destination. In another "odd lot" type store called Weber's, Ralph Lauren classic navy and white cap-toe flats were found for a cool $20.00 and we even heard a rumor that
a Gucci product had been found there in the past. Discount stores like Daffy's, Loehmann's, T.J. Maxx,
and Filene's are the stores where you will find quality designer clothing and housewares at a fraction of
original retail price. Always inspect the merchandise carefully. Because trying to return it and saying you bought it that way may not be believed. Also do not overlook the higher end retail outlets and department stores for the "major mark down" sales. Persistent hunting can again pay off with finds way below the first ticket price. Imagine a $700 pair of shoes for $125. Of course, if in New York City -- the 34th Street area
in general is a "what to know about."
The end result is that the saving is yours.

The one reason these stores do so well, all around for everyone is, generally many of the items are bought
at auction due to some problem in shipping. For instance, if a clothing store expects its shipment on Monday but it does not arrive until Thursday or the following week a vendor or merchant may reserve the right to refuse that delivery. It goes back to the manufacturer who might ultimately get stuck with that particular product on the shelf. |
