Schott Bros. in 2003 celebrate 90 years of not only being together as a company. They celebrate being a
family owned business. When it is said "Family", it means: Family. We went to celebrate with them in the Big Gotham. Over the course of a few hours we met brothers, uncles, cousins: family. They were there. Their last name was: "Schott." Some worked in the Corporate Office and some work (like Oren, a grandson who loves what he does) where the process of making the Clothing comes together happen. What was amazing -- is spending time with the family, you realize they even cared what happens to the animals and how they are treated. If you want a real tid bit ... when the company came together those many moons ago back in the 1900's it was Schott Bros. who put "invented" zippers in coats. Before that it was buttons and belts. Schott Bros. closed a chapter in History. Schott Bros. -- what it means to have one of their creations to own. |
