Spring 2001
New Yorkers and visitors alike know that the vernal equinox does not really mark the first
day of Spring season. The Annual Macy's Flower Show does ! "The World's Largest Indoor
Garden" has taken on an exotic look and a special theme - Butterflies ! The magic starts
with the addition of two new handcrafted wrought iron Butterfly gates. Specially designed
and constructed by Macy's. Guaranteed to impress all who pass through. Take a Look.
Not to be missed are the many new flowers displayed on the main floor of the store. Red
and blue Lupines, Gold Flame Spirea, and Eastern Redbands to name a few. The Macy's
Flower Show happens in the month of April. If you are in New York definitely go. It is Free.
A feast for sore eyes. The Experience of Enchantment. If you do not get to the show then
see some of it here and take the Journey ToTaLLy CoOL ®. The Celebration of The First
Spring Season of The Millennium 2001. As Flowers come and go: FLOWERS GROW. And
we remember a moment in Time. The Macy's Annual Flower Show Extravaganza.

The magic begins as shoppers and passersby are greeted by the 6 famous windows on
Broadway. 2001 pays tribute to The Glory of Springtime and The Magic of Children and ...
Butterflies. Each scene is filled with live botanicals. To make each scene more delightful,
the visual masters at Macy's have
created these windows to evoke the
fun frolic of the season. If you do not
know the windows we're talking about
-- think the Macy's Thanksgiving Day
Parade: on Television. They are the
windows on the front of the store. The
marching bands, performances, and
floats stop there for a camera shot.
