- Seasonal Fun Has Just Begun -
And it is a Gala Event. Burberry's, that well known
store in Manhattan on 57th Street (for those with
definite taste), sprung a new innovative approach
to window shopping and store window dressing.
To honor The New York City Ballet Burberry's
danced right in and had their window mannequins
come to life, in every sense. Burberry's store
windows on 57th Street stretched the imagination
with lines of infinity as real ballerinas danced
and posed to entertain a passerby's delight.
The preservation of culture stepping forward.
A luminating experience would lead you to see.
The future's so bright ya gotta wear shades. In
the Totally Cool (r) Worlds of ... Sunglasses:
A "must have" when the earth shifts and the sun takes
on a new angle. In -Basic Cool- certain things are
cornerstones in History. When it comes to sunglasses
the cornerstone is, throughout the 1900's: Ray Ban,
Ray Bans by Bausch & Lomb. Ray Ban sunglasses
bring to mind the slick solid black frames and rolled
up t-shirts that is our generation... rock n' roll, James
Dean, hot cars, short skirts, and progressive change.
Or what might also come to mind is the United States
Secret Service agents in their incognito "aviators."
Definitely Ray Ban's. The metal framed glasses of that
"official" look. Actually Ray Ban sunglasses have a
very long history.
The classic aviator sunglasses developed in
the eras of war, World War I. So -- in short,
Ray Ban will make you look good and they
do not break the budget. Classic. If you look
around you can get a good deal on them. Ray
Bans are sold Worldwide. Even on the street.
Now the question is what will the future be like ?
Going forward in the new millennium Ray Ban
by Bausch & Lomb has been purchased by
Luxottica. If the new crew brought back the
"Nomad" style sunglasses, (much like what
James Belushi and Dan Ackroyd -Jake and
Elmo- are wearing in the original movie "The
Blues Brothers"), a heavier "Wayfarer" style
sunglass, that would be: Totally Cool (r) ! We
will see. The new styles coming from Ray Ban
are as classic as the old ones. The future's so
bright you gonna need shades.
