How
about
we call
this story
"Historical
Content" ...
The pictures you
are about to see are
truly amazing and truly
Unique. In the strictest sense.
Like we said Historical Content.
There will be few words on these pages. Only a notation here and there that describe some of the where
we are (as you will see). This works in whole would not be here for us "to enjoy and preserve" - "to see and
remember" if it were not for Bettina Cirone. And we take this moment to say: Thank you. Bettina has been
a Lenswoman, Professional Photo Journalist, for many years. During much of that time (20, 30 years) she
was the "official photographer" for The Mayor's Office: Lower Manhattan Development, The City Planning
Commission. These are photographs of The World Trade Center in New York City from: In The Beginning.
At any time our - "Lenspeople" - photographer's works appear in any manner a photo credit acknowledging
their "name" must be included, as such: "photo(s) courtesy of Bettina Cirone / Totally Cool ® - c. 2001."
If you print any of these photos for your personal framing it is suggested that you send a few
dollars - 4, 5, 10, 20 - whatever you feel the image is worth to you or whatever you can afford,
(but send something, a few dollars) to either the: New York Police and Fire Widows and
Childrens Benefit Fund - P.O. Box 3713 Grand Central Station, New York, N.Y. 10163,
Uniform Firefighters Association (and EMS Workers) Widows and Childrens World Trade
Center Relief Fund - 204 East 23rd Street, New York, N.Y. 10010, or The Robin Hood
Foundation
in New York City. The Robin Hood Foundation helps everyone, not just people
in Uniforms.
